I vote for today.

Haren and Jackson were both disappointments. Valdez/Buckner were as bad as expected.

With Kennedy and Lopez sliding from 3-4 to 4-5, Hudson, Enright and Saunders give up some hope for the future.

Looking at people's career the rotation at the start of the year is better. There should be absolutely no debate about that. Yes everyone didn't play up to their ability but that was a better starting 5. Now if you want to ask which rotation sets up better for the future then that is a totally different question.

I'll go with today as well... I think Hudson, Enright and Kennedy could turn out to be a tremendous top 3rd of the rotation. I never liked Saunders and I still don't. He's extremely inconsistent, going from marginal at best, to bad, to VERY bad on any given night.

Not sure what's up with Haren... he's not done so well with the Angels either. Really a tough year for him this year. However, Edwin has certainly hit his stride in Chi-Town.

Still, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the three young guns we now have can do for us over a full season!

Now, go grab a legit 7th & 8th inning guy, along with a legit closer. Trade Young or Upton if you have to to make that happen! Just do it!!!

I say now as these young guys are showing that high priced SP's are highly overrated. But once Parker gets the call up I say that starting 5 will be better.

You have to be kidding about trading Upton. You never trade away a guy like him until he is about to hit free agency and you can't afford him (i.e. Miguel Cabrera). As for Young I still don't think you deal him, but now would be the time to do so. His value will never be higher, but he is an extremely valuable piece to this team.

Jackson was inconsistent, great when he was on and terrible when he was off. I liked Dan Haren a lot but now Daniel Hudson is in the rotation and pitching great. I think the DBax came out a little better overall after the moves, plus they have several promising prospects.

I would say the current. However the starting 5 was never the primary problem. It is and always has been the bullpen.

I posted this earlier but it didn't take. I really like these young three guys. I've always been a big IK fan since his time in the Yankees system. The other two have both done phenomenal jobs this year and Enright did a great job tonight in SF against a team who has had hot bats. Next year should be an exciting year for our young pitchers.
