Who's playing in the 2025 Masters? There are now 94 players on the invite list

It's the first men's major of the year. And it's almost here.

It's a somewhat exclusive field to get into, as many years there are about 90 golfers on the tee sheet at Augusta National Golf Club. That compares to most tournaments with 132 golfers with some having as many 156, like the U.S. Open.

With the countdown officially on, there are now 94 golfers on the invite list who can look forward to that drive down Magnolia Lane in 2025, according to the Masters official website.

The list for the Masters includes five amateurs who must maintain that amateur status if they would like to play in April: Josele Ballester, Evan Beck, Justin Hastings, Noah Kent and Hiroshi Tai.

Is Tiger Woods playing in the Masters?​

Woods, a five-time winner of the green jacket, is going to miss the Masters in 2025 after having surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles, an injury he announced on April 11. He's one of 16 past champions not playing in 2025.

When is the Masters?​

The 2025 Masters is set for April 10-13.

Is there still time for someone not already invited to get in the field?​

There are still a few ways for those not yet in the field to earn their way in:

• Win a PGA Tour event that awards full FedEx Cup points (the last chance will be at the 2025 Valero Texas Open, April 3-6)
• Receive a special invitation as an international player from the Masters Tournament Committee

The 2025 Masters will be the 89th edition.
