It's quite clear that the Suns like someone in the draft. I nailed the Zarko pick last year (I also tabbed Boldin for the Cards in a mock draft...whoo hoo)

The Usual Suspects:

#1 Pavel Podkolzine. C Suns have been searching for that legit big man for a long time. Absolutely stunned people with his workout last year and might have gone in the top 5 last year. Can't teach 7'5"

#2 Ben Gordon PG Depending on Barbosa's progression, the Suns may draft this sweet shooting guard from UConn. I would call him the anti-Marbury. Nice outside shot, likes to push the ball, but rarely plays out of control. Isn't a jaw dropping player, but more like a Nash style PG.

#3 Emeka Okafor PF Could be your starting PF if you are comfortable with Amare at C. Loads of talent and a tough defender/shot blocker.

Right now it is a little early to say for certain, but these are the guys that I could see the Suns wanting.

If we look for a PG?

Ben Gordon , hands down the best in college right now

If we look for a SG?

Andre Iguodala , maybe could even play PG

If we want a SF?

Luol Deng, could also play SG

If we want a PF?

Dwight Howard, might be able to play center in the long run as well or PF with Amare at C.

If we want a C?
Okafor although he is way undersized and more of a PF.

Well we better sign a center than draft one unless we get more cap to sign Kobe or TMac.

You did nail the Boldin pick didnt you, wow that nice braging rights!

Any of those guys sound much needed.

I dont think we need a PG, I honestly feel Barbosa is fine. But Nash is my perfect opinion of how a PG should play.

Milos Vujanic is the Phoenix Suns future at point guard. I guarantee with D'Antoni's experience in Europe he was a big part of this trade. Supposedly he is the best point guard in Europe, although Slin says there is another guy that is much better. He was the starting point guard for Yugoslavia's world championship team.

Joe, Vujanic is one heck of a player. His agent wants him in Europe, but Mike and Zarko can convince him to come to the NBA.

Well if he is that good, then I dont understand why this trade is so bad in other peoples opinions...

All we gave up was Marbury, if we are getting a very skilled PG in return, pluss alot of flexability and draft picks.

It seems all we gave up was a chance to compete this year to become ALOT better in the next year or two.

This Lampe sounds like the Center alot of you guys think we need. A guy that is big enough to grab some boards and play D, that can hit the outside shot while Amare stays in the paint.

Last season Vujanic lead the euroleague in scoring at 25.8ppg and received fouls at 9.78rfpg however this season he is averaging

12.8ppg 59%FG 20.5%3s 92%FTs 2apg 1.5spg 0.8rpg 0.0bpg through 6 games in 28mpg.
At 6'4 I am a little worried about 5 rebounds in 6 games.

He was not, Jaric was.

I have seen only minutes from Vujanic who he seemed to be a talented scoring PG who didn't find his place at the yugoslavian NT.

Vujanic last season was the best scorer of Euroleague but he scored a lot for his relatively weak team.
This summer he moved to a much better team where his points dropped.
Plus it's interesting that his former team Partizan till now plays better without him.

I really like Ben Gordon and I guess that his passing skills are underrated but I'm not sure that he is worth a #6 pick.

He seems to be a scoring PG in NBA ala Bobby Jackson or maybe Chauncey Billups but as a starting PG for the Suns?
I don't know.

He played for a relatively weak team, now he plays for an excellent team. His old team is getting more mature and better.

Vujanic will impress you guys if we can get him to the NBA.

I just read how Vujanic would have massive assist numbers if Euro teams credited them like the NBA does.

What's the difference?

One other thing, the Knicks could not afford to pay Vujanic. They were over $80 million in salaries.
