I like Manning and think we'll look back and recognize him as the best ever to play the position, but I have a place in my heart for traditionally hard-luck teams...so I'm pulling for the Saints.

Should be a great game if you like offense.

I'm pulling for the Saints for pretty much all the reasons above.

But I honestly think the Colts are gonna beat the Saints like a rented mule.

:deadhorse2:<--I could not find the rented mule emoticon.. so this is a donkey.. not a horse, ok?

I don't care who wins. If we're not in the game, I'm just thankful that Dallas, Washington, SF, NE, and Pitt aren't either.

Does that make me a hater? Probably so, and I'm fine with it.

Go Cards!!!

Saints.

Amazing that the Cardinals and then the Saints make it to the SB. Something that didn't seem possible not too long ago.

Got to enjoy seeing teams that have come so far to get there. Keeps the excitement level up each year for every team. Any team can get there in any given year. Still difficult to see the Lions get there though. :D

I guess I will be pulling for the Saints, but in truth, I really don't give a ____!!

That's pretty much how I feel as well. Having the Cards make the Super Bowl last year pretty much ruined me from giving a crap about the playoffs this year after they were eliminated. Weird feeling, not used to making the playoffs but I sure hope it continues.

I will root for the Colts as I think the Saints got lots of help to even get there and quite honestly don't deserve it! I would rather have seen a Vikings / Colts bowl as those were the best 2 teams in my mind. And if the same cheap shotting of the QB goes uncalled all game long in the Super Bowl as it did in the NFC Championship wouldn't be surprised if the Saints were given another game they didn't deserve to win!

Saints...Like to think the only reason we lost was because of destiny.

I'm ambivalent right now, but I'm sure once game day gets here, I'll be cheering for the Saints

I grew up in Indiana, and my parents are Colts fans, so I think I have to say the Colts.

However, my family also has a strong Purdue connection (my dad is a retired Purdue professor, and they live about a mile from the campus), and we are also Drew Brees fans.

Bottom line: I want the Colts to win, but what I would rather have is a do-over and have the Cardinals in there (!). Then, I would have no trouble wanting the Colts to lose.

My initial thoughts were with the Saints as I feel good for their city and what the team does for them.

And then I watched the Vikings game and this past Saturday and realized I can't cheer for them.

Not to get all Cards Campos on you guys, but their defensive coordinator has them hunting heads and taking cheap shots on QB's. They had something like 15 shots on Farve, yet not one sack. That means they were gunning to hit him. And I don't think all of it was legal either.

It was also pretty obvious that they were trying to take Kurt out on the INT and I don't like the mentality of even if you can't get to the QB, lets hit him anyway. Sack up for lack of a better term I guess.

Before the Cards game I had someone tell me that Saints did things to break the rules, and after the Cards game I saw some of it but thought I was just bitter about the loss. But the Vikes game was even more transparent IMO.

Obviously it was effective. More power to them. But I am not cheering for them.

Personally I hope Freeney takes out Brees in the first quarter.

The two teams I was rooting for won on Sunday. So I'm OK with either team winning.

Minor point but if the Saints win that means New Orleans drafts one position lower at #32 so maybe they get slightly worse talent or Indy snatches their choice away. OTOH, if they lose maybe they are hit with the so-called "Super Bowl loser jinx." ;)

Go Colts...even though in truth I really don't care. Tired of hearing about New Orleans' "destiny". Couldn't root against them playing the Vikes cause the only thing more tired is Farve's story.

Besides the media labeled us a fluke, them destined?
