It seems that CBS Sports NFLDraftScout is popular and pretty inclusive, but I question so much of their rankings when I run into them somewhere. Is there anyone out there you think is way above the others that is free to public?

Unless Dave Te does a mock I still think Kiper is as accurate as anyone.

There used to be a site that tracked the accuracy of mock drafts but I don't know if it still exists. The guy from the Dallas paper was usually the best. Too bad I can't remember his name or the name of the site that tracked them. Rick Goselin may have been the writer's name.

Rick Gosselin was really accurate buy he stopped doing his Mock and a lot of his rankings. He still has some great articles that evaluate the talent.

I'm not crazy about any of the scouting sites, but it's not necessarily their fault. It has more to do with the system.

I like CBS for providing comprehensive listings of every prospect in easy-to-sort spreadsheet format. Like Kiper for being early. Like Lindy's and other mags (because they're mags)

But CBS doesn't get the rankings all that right. Kiper seems to feel obligated to justify his early rankings and downplays late risers and fallers. The mags try to scoop each other by hitting the newsstands early and ignore late trends.

Best thing to do: Watch a lot of footage, trust your eyes, read a lot of stuff from different sources and then compile your own rankings. Do this and there's less likelihood that Dak Prescott types will slip thru the cracks.
