Who's the one player at the top of the draft that does nothing for you?

Me? I don't like Branch. I'd be pretty disappointed if he became a Cardinal at #5.

Joe Thomas. Shefter is reporting that the FO wants JT and the coaches love Levi. I don't want the guy RG and the Bidwills want don't exactly trust their judgement.

I assume you mean who don't you want the Cards to take since the answer could depend on the team but...

I am not very fond of that Joe Thomas guy at all.

I have been pretty quiet on this subject up to now but can contain myself no longer. :sarcasm:

Shefter is lying. The Cards coaches aren't telling anyone anything. Neither is the FO.

But thanks for the report.

To me that sounds like an extrapolation of:

its been reported that Grimm likes Brown, so therefore the FO likes one and coaches like the other

He probably got his info from this article ...

Ultimately, the Bidwill family is expected to make the final decision, based on the input from vice president of player personnel Rod Graves and head coach Whisenhunt, and should ownership overrule the selection of a runner, it is Levi Brown, not Joe Thomas, for whom the new coaching staff has taken a stronger liking.

The Valley so low.
Leon Hall. Up till the combines he sounded like a twin of Rolle, then runs a 4.39. I don't trust it. The profilers routinely say he did not keep up with WRs very well, played like he'd be lucky to run a 4.5, etc. I'll bet he's still a twin of Rolle. Now, maybe good coaching will rehab Rolle, but I'll believe it when I see it and till then I wouldn't use a high pick on a CB that may be another budding safety. [And of course who needs him--we have Rolle.]

Branch or Brown, I want no part of either player at #5 (lower in the draft maybe, but only if Peterson or Thomas weren't there at #5).

Plus I don't think DT is a huge need nor do I think there is any way Branch will be BPA.

As for Brown, something about him just makes me really cautious.

Okoye and Carriker.

You dont' want Carriker. That is cold hearted.

At number 5 Okoye, both QB's, Anderson, Peterson, Brown, and Branch.

The people i would be happy with at 5 would be Carriker, Thomas, Willis, and Landry.

Hall looked slow when I saw him in the Rose bowl against Texas. But then Hall was only a Sophomore then and Vince Young makes a lot of people look slow.

Adrian Peterson unless somehow, some way Gaines Adams and Joe Thomas are both gone.
