Who has been the best player on this team.

I think Doan has been the been a great leader, but I do not think you can say for certain that there is a best player because this is such a true team at this point in the year. Statistically the only players that stick out are Vrbata in goals and Doan in assists. Derek Morris also has a plus 10. Then there is Hanzel and Mueller with solid rookie season so far. Reinprecht is having a all around sold season with 26 points. With the young kids Turris and Wheeler coming in a season or 2 and the chance to get Rick Tocchet back in a month or so, this is going to be a great team. Now we just need to lock up Bryzgalov and keep playing like a team.

He has only played in 23 of 43 games and is 13-9-1. He is great to have on the team and we can not be a serious contender without him, but we are 10-10-0 without him. I am not sure I can say he is the best player this year.
