Iupati not playing is a blessing in disguise. I honestly think he's the worst player on the OL by a distance.

From what I have read he is a better pass blocker.

Correct: Boone is a pass blocking specialist but historically weak on run blocking.

This business about Brown really bothers me. First they let both safeties leave then have to move up to draft one in round 2 instead of taking a receiver like Golladay. Basically they lost two veteran receivers from last year's starting lineup in a way that understandably couldn't be avoided. Their solution was Chad Williams. I've been fairly supportive of Keim, but this is a major screw up. Unless they were 100% sure on Brown's recovery they blew the draft big time! It's hard to believe that was a medical certainty.

This. It's hard to imagine how we couldn't just saved the money that went to Gresham and gave it to Swearinger because 1) he only got a mediocre salary from the skins and 2) we have a fascination with people named DJ. At least replace Bethea with Baker cuz the former looks 100 steps too slow on the field.

Really! Really! the guy can't find his way onto the field and BA has no concerns with it. This is asinine.
What's asinine is the degree to which people are jumping to conclusions about this team after one game this season. (Not just in this post or this thread, but in every thread since the loss to Detroit.)

Full context:
When Brown returns would be a guess. Arians was asked what his level of concern was with Brown, and the coach simply said he didn’t have one “because he just can’t stay healthy right now.”

“It’s a matter now of the next guy stepping up to go, because I don’t know when he’s going to be healthy,” Arians said.

Big difference between "not being concerned" and "not being able to characterize the level of concern" because of the degree of uncertainty.

Why not move Veldheer back over to LT until Humphries returns? Seems a bit risky to toss a backup in there.

Veldheer needs to stay at RT to possibly play better. If Humphries was out for the season it would be a different story. Not to mention he's been horrible with both pass and run blocking. Iupati too
