From what I have read he is a better pass blocker.Let's see what Boone can do for us on Sunday. Is he naturally a better pass or run blocker?
From what I have read he is a better pass blocker.
Correct: Boone is a pass blocking specialist but historically weak on run blocking.
This business about Brown really bothers me. First they let both safeties leave then have to move up to draft one in round 2 instead of taking a receiver like Golladay. Basically they lost two veteran receivers from last year's starting lineup in a way that understandably couldn't be avoided. Their solution was Chad Williams. I've been fairly supportive of Keim, but this is a major screw up. Unless they were 100% sure on Brown's recovery they blew the draft big time! It's hard to believe that was a medical certainty.
What's asinine is the degree to which people are jumping to conclusions about this team after one game this season. (Not just in this post or this thread, but in every thread since the loss to Detroit.)Really! Really! the guy can't find his way onto the field and BA has no concerns with it. This is asinine.
When Brown returns would be a guess. Arians was asked what his level of concern was with Brown, and the coach simply said he didn’t have one “because he just can’t stay healthy right now.”
“It’s a matter now of the next guy stepping up to go, because I don’t know when he’s going to be healthy,” Arians said.
Why not move Veldheer back over to LT until Humphries returns? Seems a bit risky to toss a backup in there.
