Who played Football when they were younger and what position did you play? We need to assemble an ASFN team just in case,oh, a Rams or 49ers board challenges us to a game.

I played up until HS when a combination of two knee surgeries and job/car, limited me and took up all of my time.

I played both OT positions then, but now I'de probably be a 3rd string OLB and special teamer.

I always played football at recess with the boys until like 6th grade. I was always the QB on offense and a CB on defense.

I ruled. But then the boys got bigger and I found other sports to play (basketball) and other girly stuff to do.

Just pencil me in as the starting LDE (aka, Stout Against the Run). I played DE, TE and LS (Trey Junkin, you were my hero! Lol) in High School, and DE for spring ball semester at Edinboro Universtiy of PA before I had to get a job, as my car's engine died. After being completely out of shape in January, I was 2nd string at the end of spring ball, and would have played a great deal come fall and likely started the next year.

No threat to be a sack master here...best 40 time was about a 4.85. Best bench was only ever around 275. Best squat? Can't remember.

Right now? 6'3, 285 (roughly), probably run a 5.5 40, bench 225, etc...so, I'm better than half our DEs :D

I played 3 years of popwarner. Then started JV my sophmore year. Was on the Varsity squad JR. & Senior year. I played mostly LB outside & In. I also played DE/FB...

I should of played FB in highschool, I was perfect for it. I loved to hit/block, and I could catch anything.

I regret not playing in college. Bad...

My school was 8-0, CV was 8-0. CV beat us 7-0...John Richie(current eagles FB) broke my ribs on the 1st series of the 4th quarter.

Still made states. We were an all white farm boy school with a graduating class of 70 and we made states!!!!!

Put me in at Defensive Tackle. I can also play Offensive Tackle.

Now if you really expect me to play, I need a couple of weeks notice to get back into shape. :p

Played both ways & returned punts. QB until Jr. year when being 5' 11' - playing two ways as a QB was discouraged and the coache's sophmore son became the QB. He sucked & almost killed our all state wr. By his Jr. year he was 6' 3" & getting it together. We sucked my last two years but by his and the coaches third year they were awsome then he went on to UVA then Dallas, Miami & Buffalo where he was a career back up .

I continued to play special teams & Montster Back (highhbrid between LB,CB,S) which was an awsome position to play. In some coverages lined up man to man with their fastest reciever. On other plays lined up at DE, MLB or mirrored their featured RB. Ended up taking an appointment to Annapolis rather than scolarship to Syracuse, Rutgers or a couple other places where I wouldn't get an education and was too small to play. Thought at the USNA I would avoid the politics and get a good education. Saluted my way out shortly after my arrival.

Now- Old, fat, slow & 4 kids under 6 so add tired to the list.

I played and started (both ways) all 4 years in HS, 3 years on the varsity...
Positions:
Fr: OFFENSE - Fl or FB DEFENSE - DB, OLB & DE
Soph: OFFENSE - FB DEFENSE - DB, S, OLB & DE
Jr: OFFENSE - FB & TE DEFENSE - OLB, ILB & NG
Sr: OFFENSE - LG DEFENSE - NG & MLB

I was All-Conference at OG as a Sr. I was also the smallest man on the All-Conference team at 155 lbs. I recorded 98 tackles as a NG. I had 7 sacks in ONE game.

Defensive End
Offensive Guard - Pulling specialist

Both ways all four years in High school
Offensive 1 year in college

Blew out right knee and have never played since.

Did not really like the offensive line but went to a small school and they needed players - which in looking back is what got me my college scholarship.

Favorite High School offensive play was one designed with a rec. who would shimmy down the line towards the center of the field, I would pull from the far side and plaster the corner at the L.O.S. and free up our man for a large gain nearly every time... Our QB and receiver both set records for net gained yards my senior year in the state CIF...

Great memories....

now I am still 6'2", have no clue how much I weigh (much more, I am sure), and probably could not even run a 40... :D

I played DE and LT in high school. I never weighed much more than 210, but had offers to play college ball at Columbia, Dartmouth, Occidental and Brown. None offered athletic scholarships and were very expensive. So, I took an academic scholarship instead.
