There isn't a long history of success for Heisman-winning QBs in the NFL.

Only two QBs have won both the Heisman in college and gone on to win the Super Bowl in the NFL.

Roger Staubach (2 SB wins)
Jim Plunkett (2 SB wins)

So, will one of these players - if any - become the third to win both?

I think Lamar and Burrow are the only reasonable options at this time. Lamar could certainly win it this year.
Burrow came so close in SB LVI. Only lost 23-20.

Lamar has a shot this year, but they haven't had much playoff success during his time in Baltimore.

Baker could almost ride the Tampa defense to a title. I wish our defense tackled guys in the open field like the Bucs do.

I dunno about the Bucs. They're the first team ever to be bottom 10 in both offense and defense to win a playoff game.

I'll tell you who it won't be. Jayden Daniels. Not sure how that guy won Heisman in the first place.
Then again, the Heisman has got so watered down. It really isn't for the best football player.

Lamar seems the obvious choice. But after everything... I would have a good laugh if it's Mayfield.

Lamar is the only one still with a chance in this postseason.

Is Cam ever playing again? lol
Probably not but he is officially listed as an NFL free agent, so I included him.

He could have been the third Heisman-winner to win a SB, but he couldn't even be bothered to pick up a loose football against the Broncos in the big game. Then he pouted afterwards.

Not much has really changed except that Jameis Winston is now the starting QB for the Browns and Jayden Daniels looks really comfortable as the Commanders QB.

Cam Newton hasn't officially retired but no teams are calling for him to return and he sees himself as a YouTuber these days.
