why???SirStefan32 said:Ray Allen, easily...
SirStefan32 said:Because he is a leader, not just a role player like Marion. He is a good shooter, and unlike Marion, he is not afraid to drive to the hoop every once in a while. He is more experienced, and he is much smarter on the court than Shawn...

Seattle is already looking to ship him again isn't that weird?
And Ray Allen is most definately no more of a leader than Shawn Marion.
Shawn Marion is a much better fit for this team.
Gaddabout said:Shawn Marion grabs about 10 boards a game as a SMALL FORWARD. The other two are SHOOTING GUARDS. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have the 10 boards at the 3 (unusually high for that position) than 20+ points from the two. Marion also CAN get you 20 points when you need it, but you'd like for him to limit his shots so he shoots a higher percentage.
How about the Suns keep Marion and hope JJ solidifies his game at the 2 for an entire season?
cheesebeef said:As far as undersized - he's 6-5 - that's about average height for a shooting guard - as opposed to Marion who IS undersized in today's NBA standing at 6'7 at Small forward.
AHEM. Marion has actually been spotted playing defense, although he's usually giving up 2 or more inches to whomever he's guarding. In the case of a Kobe Bryant or someother difficult matchup at the 2, I can see Marion and JJ switching defensive assignments and it being a plus for the Suns.SirStefan32 said:And where has Marion's team gone???![]()
Allen soft? In comparison to Marion, he is the toughest SOB in the league. Marion is the very definition of "a soft basketball player"...
