Andre Cisco is happy to have signed with the New York Jets as a free agent.

Probably more than any other player the team added to their roster during the opening week of the NFL's 2025 free agency frenzy.

Cisco joins a new-look secondary in New York. The likes of cornerback Brandon Stephens signed as well.

Cisco inked a one-year deal worth $10 million. While a nice pay day, it's viewed as a bit of a team-friendly contract. It's easy to see why Cisco was fine with that.

Cisco, 24, appeared in 16 games with 14 starts for the Jacksonville Jaguars last year, recording seven passes defended and an interception along with 68 tackles including one for loss.

The Jags selected Cisco in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft. Cisco played his college ball at Syracuse, not far from the Big Apple.

More than that, Cisco is a native of the New York City area... and because of that, he grew up a Jets fan.

After the ink dried on his contract, Cisco took to social media and wrote a message to his former self. He noted: "5th grade me would be running through a wall right now!!!! ECASTIC about what's to come. God's grace simply never fails!"
