Because I thought that wasn't possible. I thought wrong.
Not the least bit surprised by this and surprised it doesn't happen more, and I bet it won't happen again, unfortunately.

I noticed this during the probowl too. The place where your ticket is scanned is extremely lax. It's not at the actual stadium door like the Cards games, it's back around the perimeter. The lanes are wide and if a few people are bunched up I can see someone walking through easily. Once you're past this you're home free.

the best part is I get hassled by SAFE when going to my seat every time I leave my section. They always make me pull out my ticket even if I have shown it to them 5 times already.

That's weird. They checked us for security at the perimeter and scanned our ticket before we went into the stadium, as I recall.

My ticket was scanned at the normal spot at the Pro Bowl.

Scanned ours at the stadium door - exactly where it is scanned every home game.

Ok, now you all are making me think I'm nuts. And, you're right!

Called my bro and we were scanned at the door too. We walked around the stadium to check out some of the setup, but went in a different door than we normally do for Cards games.

For the Pro Bowl, scanning was at the doors, but for the Super Bowl, the scanning was at the perimeter. They had people at the doors re-checking tickets, but I don't think they were being too particular since going in and out of the stadium was allowed.

Five minutes of Googling shows one of the guys is CEO of something called Popdeem which bills itself as a social marketing site.

I'd say lad has kissed the Blarney Stone. No one can spin a tale like the Irish.

Main security was at the peremiter, but very well staffed and pretty thorough with walk through metal detectors, etc.

This is where they scanned tickets

We were asked to show tickets again when going into the stadium, but not again once we were in there
