I don't get how players can just give up and not play hard in the NFL when the season is going south or the coaching isn't the best. They have to know their future pay is on the line when they play if not just their reputation. Everything they do is on tape, and you better believe when free agency comes up that is reviewed... They make millions of dollars and may lose slot of that or all of it, or make millions more if they play hard and consistent... I noticed people on their board have mentioned several times they are actually surprised many of the Cardinals players haven't given up yet.. To me that would be just stupid. The players, for the rest of their lives, will most likely be mostly known by what they do on the field and will most likely make 90%+ of all the salary they will make for their entire lives. The average person in their lives will probably make about a 1.5 mil.. most of these guys can get that much more by just showing effort if they are half way decent..

Why do you stop trying to hard at work when you see certian guys getting ahead and no matter how hard you try or how better you are it's never you who gets ahead?

It's human nature. To become angry and go through all of those emotions. Look at a situation like the Raiders. Your asking guys to go out and kill themselves in a brutal sport when the guys in suits are sabotaging any chance you have at winning. How would you react?

Players are regular people and an unhealthy work environment is an unhealthy work environment no matter where you are.

Now what gets confused a lot on this board. Is saying guys are "quitting" when in fact the other team just has more talent. Fans think well by golly if they just tried harder when in fact it's talent and health that wins games in the NFL for the most part.

The NBA a different story 82 games and effort will win you games alone some nights because a grind like that the better teams flat out take nights off because there resting for the playoffs

There is no room for logical thought and well thought out responses on this board. Please stick to the usual:

1. Fire coaches immediately
2. Fire GM
3. Sign player X
4. Cut player X immediately
5. Play calling sucks

Feel free to use these guidelines as your base responses and expand a bit further...but not too far. Your credibility will skyrocket if you take my advice.
