Let me clarify something, I am a die hard Cardinal fan. I have never quit watching a game no matter the score for close to 40 years. I love this team but today it felt like pulling teeth with an inferior team to win

I would say this in the first half, but the second half, they were a different team. No idea why they can't start out the gates great. Why do they take so long to get going.

It's tough to feel good about any game where our passing offense looks so poor... we're so used to seeing dominant passing games from the Cards with Palmer.

We had a lot of positives in this game though... Our rushing was strong, our defense was solid & made a few great plays, our pass rush was good, our special teams was the best it's been all season (except that 1st Quigley punt), our long snapping & holding was the best it's been all year.

I thought the defense played good as a whole. But not a very good game from Mathieu and most of our defensive lineman not named Campbell

Cards playing on the road with its backup QB. Had we won 15-14, it'd still be great. Putting up 33 with three turnovers and seven sacks seems like a huge accomplishment to me and something this team needed after an embarrassing start to the season.

Take the W, be happy and look forward to MNF in 11 days

If you only watched the first half it felt that way. Second half wasn't lights out but it was hard to ask for much more All things considered. Just winning is huge.

The slow starts need to be fixed. There is something that is holding this team back and I don't know what it is. The slow starts will turn into losses against good teams.

Think about it this way also, if we want 1 and 4 it would be instant implosion for the season. At 2 and 3 there is hope and reason to put in that hard work. Of we get to 3 and 3, especially if some other teams slip there is still a chance. It keeps hope alive, we live to play another day.

The more of the season I watch the more I put the poor play on the coaches as much as the players. When you consistently start this slow the coaches don't have the players prepared and/or have good schemes. If we can come out of the gates swinging it will make a big difference. It allows the D to play looser and allows us to commit to the run game more and have time of possession in our favor.

One thing I will concede is without the turnovers we would have probably lost this game. Those were the difference. Without those the stats and ultimately the scoreboard would favor niners. So still a lot to work on but this is a start.

You guys are insane. We just won... On the road... With Stanton at QB... On a short week... With the SEASON on the line.

That feels like the best win of the year.

How is it going Sybil.

When you end the game with more points than your opponent it is definitely a win . Your feelings are your feelings. Fortunately, I am not in touch with my feelings.

+1 on all points.

Enjoy any win in the NFL, and no this doesn't feel like a loss, because we won. Simple.

I thought that was a hell of a game played by our defense, may have been just what they needed.

People can say the niners aren't a good team and we should have bashed them, but a division game on the road with your back up QB feel like a playoff win to me. We still have hope that we can turn the season around.
