Why hasn't anyone commented on McGinnis going to UofA?

Being a Mac fan, I would like to see him go to the Cats. I think Tucson would love him and I would enjoy cheering for McGinnis-led teams in the future.

Hmmm...

I wouldn't mind him being here. I'm sure his record with the Cards doesn't help, even if it is in the NFL. After the dismissal of our current "Mac", I'm not sure if they're ready for another Mac. I'd like to think our Defense would improve atleast. Rumorville is full of faulty street signs anyway.

An yes, Gambo is a Meat-Gazer.

I agree with all of the astute appraisals of Gambo...

That said, I think McGinnis would be a good fit for UA. Certainly would lift the spirit of that down-beaten team. I believe that Mac would make a much better college coach than he has done at the Pro level. In college the emotion and attitude of a team means way more than in the NFL. Not discounting that it has some impact at the NFL level; just not near as much.

In the NFL it is obviously more about the mental aspects of the game; and much as I like and respect Mac as a person; in this regard he is not cutting it.

I do agree that he might be a great fit at UofA. I bet he would be able to recruit, since players obviously love him. Even Simoron Rice said that he loved playing for coach Mac.

I imagine he would be a very good recruiter as well...I would welcome him in Tucson...but I don't think it will happen...

I have said since we first hired mcginnis to be head coach that I think he would make a better college coach than pro coach.. I think he would be a great recruiter - and the college kids may get more fired up over his speeches than the pro guys..

That's not a very nice thing to say about sock puppets, Krang.
