Why in the hell aren't the Devils favored to win the Oregon Game?

They lose to an Indiana team that has lost several games and didn't look that great in their losses...They get crushed by Oklahoma, There only win is against an Idaho team that has lost to everybody and might not win more than a couple games all year...

We beat a top 15 team... We also really did crush Oregon State even though the stats don't show it... We shouldn't be in the top 25 or the top 40 for that matter if we can't beat Oregon.

How about that ASU's only legitimate RB has a cast over his right arm? Or that there's a huge amount of distractions in the wake of this Loren Wade controversy? Or that Autzen Stadium is one of the toughest places to play in college football?

The Indiana game was a fluke, plain and simple because Oregon turned the ball over seven times in the first half and still almost won. And Oklahoma didn't dominate as much as thre final score made out, considering they're about five times more talented than everybody not named USC and Miami.

I'm not saying Oregon is going to win (there's no D in Belotti), but to think that ASU is going to go into Eugene and walk all over an Oregon team with their 3rd string RB after a week of controversy may be a little too much to ask.

The Loren Wade controversy (distractions from it) will not be a factor. What will be a factor though is your first point, which I suppose you could end up classifying the Wade deal as a hindrance. The suddenly completely depleted RB corp is a HUGE hurdle to overcome.

I don't think ASU will go in and walk over them by any means but I still fail to see how ASU isn't a favorite even at Oregon. Just a head scratcher line to me. Hopefully the ASU guys will try and gain some extra motivation (as if they don't have enough) by the Vegas "disrespect" and kick the hell out of the Ducks.

Didn't Hill run the most last game and looked better than any of the running backs who started before him? It's not like we had all that great of a running game before anyways. I say we Womp them :)

ASU should be maybe a 3 or 4 point favorite. But, this game has all the signs of being a possible ambush game. Oregon is not as bad as some might think, and they are very tough at home in night games. If it rains, ASU could have a very hard time.

Told you we should have been favored :) If it wasn't for that first down gift the referees gave I think we would have beaten them by even more....
