Why in the hell didn't Mac put McCown or Parson in when we were 24 points behind with three minutes to play? Especially since Blake obviously wasn't doing the job. Why in the world don't the Cards have an experienced quarterback (other than Blake) on the squad? Why didn't the Cards have two experienced quarterbacks on the squad last year? Why in the world did Mac stay with Plummer so long the previous two years? Of course I admit that I am just a typical fan, but I think just about any one of us could have managed the quarterback situation better that Mac.

Phinius, the old timer.

I agree old timer. I for one would like to see Parsons get a shot. I don't think he will because McCown is Mac QB project and I think he has a hard admitting when he is wrong. That will always be his down fall, I believe in this biz you have to except the fact that it is not an exact science, so when you make a mistake you just have to cut your loses and move on. Just like Mr. Bidwill is going to do when he fires him!!!!!!!

Parsons looked good in the preseason very poised and seemed to have a good pocket presents. I though he clearly beat out McCown for the second spot.

I'm all for seeing these guys play, but not in the last three minutes of a blowout. That's not going to give us an accurate assesment one way or another.

I hope they play Parsons so that he can fall on his face and all you guys can be quiet about him.

Plenty of players excel in junk time in the preseason and go on to do nothing when games count in the NFL. Give him the shot, let him get killed, and we can get Blake out on the field and run out the clock on this season.

Yesterday, Jeff Blake got stepped on after a pass and was hopping around on one foot.

A little later, he hit his hand on a helmet, and was clearly in pain.

On both plays, I was yelling "EXCUSE...EXCUSE" as in, here's the perfect excuse to get him out of there ... but no. We let the opportunity slide by.

Then we can dump him and Josh and start from scratch, rather than simply take your word for it.

That's fine. I just want to stop hearing about it.

I am very encouraged by the fact that Kerouac9 thinks Parsons will fail miserably.

With Kerouac9's track record, Parsons should be a sure thing.
