Will Fiorentina vs Juventus be played despite weather alert?

There have been requests to postpone Sunday’s Serie A match between Fiorentina and Juventus, and even if the weather situation in Florence improves, a final decision has yet to be made.

Florence city council vice-president Alessandro Draghi requested on Friday to postpone Sunday’s Serie A match between Fiorentina and Juventus at the Franchi.

Heavy rainfall in Florence and its surroundings triggered flood warnings. On Friday, the Rimaggio stream overflowed in Piazza del Mercato in Sesto Fiorentino, and schools remained closed in Florence and its region on Friday and Saturday.

The weather situation in Florence, from where we are writing, improved on Saturday morning.
