Who will it be? Personally, I think BC might as well go down to the side line and take the "credit" for this mess. So far D'Antoni has been exactly what I expected - but maybe he's just a puppet.

OK, I'll wait until we get Amare & Z back before I throw in the towel for the year. Looking at the bright side, the Cavs are beginning to play better & we should get another first round pic in a year and we should be able to get a good pic for ourselves this year. Next season could be really great if we get the coaching "position" solved.

Mike Fratello, I'd like.

There was a pretty good article by David Aldridge, yes DA, how the Bulls should have hired Fratello and the experience as a broadcaster should benefit him when he gets a coaching job again.

Fratello always sounded like he really likes the Suns group of players when I saw him on TNT.

I'm not sure why Fratello is considered a big name NBA coach, except that he is good TV analysis. He did not accomplish much in Cleveland.

Cleveland makes a poor yardstick. But then, I don't think Fratello is considered a "big name".

Mike Fratello? OK, now we are not using our heads. If you think Scott Skiles had the players miserable wait until Fratello is the head coach. Not only that, the calendulas want the Suns to play an exciting brand of basketball. Mike Fratello coaches the most boring basketball on earth.

Now, Fratello wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy. But like Hubie Brown, I'd like to think that the time away from the bench has mellowed Fratello, that he now realizes that just because you can coach doesn't mean you will coach. You have to bring some humility to the table, and you have to at least try to relate to today's younger players. They only know you from TV.

I think Fratello can do that now. It's time to restore the Czar to a throne.

Some more evidence was Fratello coaching the sophs at last years allstar game.

Amen to that!
But if you guys thing this year's draft is weak, finding a good coach now would be like drafting the last player in the 2nd round and having him turn out to be ROY.

But there it is. As long as David Aldridge, a friend of Fratello's, thinks it's a good idea the Phoenix Suns should definitely grab him. Of course if the Phoenix Suns listened to David Aldridge Fratello would be coming here to coach Marbury, Marion, and... Jared Jeffries!

And Fratello coaching the sophomores at last year's All-Star game is evidence of what exactly?

I'm with Wally. There aren't any coaches out there that really excite me. Furthermore I think it's unfair to judge D'Antoni after two games against quality opponents (yes, a healthy Clippers team is a quality opponent). I want to see this Phoenix Suns team after a couple weeks with Amare and Zarko in the lineup.

It will be interesting to see what kind of adjustments D'Antoni makes over the next couple of weeks.

Right now, he's the best coach on the market. Dunleavy- gone, JFG- gone, everyone is gone.:(

I cannot see Riley coming to Phoenix, even if he was willing to coach this year. His defense oriented slow break game is the exact opposite of what the Colangelos want.
