As much as I would like to see the Cardinals draft Suggs or Kennedy at #6 overall, I think a 2-for-1 trade down with either team would really work out well for the Cards.

I have no faith in our talent evaluators to take anyone outside of the sixth pick - at least there we have a better than average shot of getting an impact player - something this team desperately needs - whatever position it may be at.

It could if the Texans and the Bears become trade partners with these teams. I honestly don't believe that the Bengals will take Newman.

1. Cin- Carson Palmer
2. Det- Charlie Rogers
3. Hou- Andre Johnson
4. Chi- Kennedy
5. Dal- Newman
6.ARI- Suggs

Cheesy, you don't seem to have faith in anything relating to this team....

What if they were only willing to trade one pick away? Which player on either (or both) would be good enough to make the Cards bite?

At first, I kind of took offense to that, but sadly, I think you may be right. If Holliday is signed, I will be happier - but all our other moves so far just don't fire me up as much as some people - i will withold any faith until I see what's put on the field - for me, the Cards have to show something to me on the field to get excited about after 15 years. I'm just tired of getting excited each offseason - you have no idea how psyched I was when we signed both Starks and Jones last year and then drafted Bryant - I thought we were heading back to the playoffs and instead we got the season we did - so now I have no faith in them until I see moves that I think will help them and so far, IMO I don't see it, yet.

A lot and not at all

There are so many permutations and commutations involved in the draft that thinking that any single action by any one team is going to have major impact on what the Cardinals do, while probably true to some extent, is also impossible to control and therefore pretty irrelevent.

Ditto...

I would take the extra pick. We need it.

Pretty simple..... I would rather have 2 chances to get players that will immediately help the team... than just one.... atleast if you have 2 chances, the chance of both being busts is unlikely.... plus the upside is getting 2 very good players to help this team instead of one.....

How cool would it be if Suggs is gone at #6 to trade with the jets for #13 & #22, and then for trufant to be there at #13 and trade with NO for #17 & #18 and end up with #17, #18, #22? We could fill 3 seperate holes, DE, WR, and still grab a QB of the future maybe?

That would be too cool! I don't see it happening, but it would be nice.

i have faith in the cardinals.

faith that they'll probably suck again.

as with the beef, i have had a ton of faith, and all my optimism sucked dry by this franchise. i really don't understand why i can't leave 'em . . . but in the end, i can't.

i just want us to stick with the 6th selection so i'll still be able to see the selection on draft day, 'cuz by the time those other picks roll around i'll be half-outta-my-head at coachella baby!!!
