Interesting interview. Apparently he has been working with Lampe and hopes to continue in the Suns organizations after he retires, perhaps as a coach.

Wouldn't suprise me. The Colangelo's track record in regards to hiring former players is most likely one of the reasons he decided to come here.

Nice to read a feel good article. Havent read one of those about the suns for awhile.

They brought Williams in as a defacto "player coach" and you can tell why.

His message about how hard Jordan worked is an important one. Young players got to where they are because they have great athletic skills, but to get to top they need to work very hard on their skills development, funidmentals, and conditioning. They need to hear it from someone like Williams. There is nothing like having three rings to give a guy locker room credibility.
