Has anyone played with one of these yet?
I just installed it on an old box and this might be the best product to come out of Redmond in a long time...
It's basically WinServer 2003 with a pretty control panel for the average joe. It's still relatively new; just released in Nov, i believe. Whats really cool is that you can connect/create your own subdomain on homeserver.com. This allows you access to the server from any internet connection as well as remote desktop'ing into your other computers.
There are add-ins that allow you to create photo galleries, websites, set it up as a streaming server, etc.
All of this has to be setup, but it's amazingly simple. It does have some bugs that should be fixed in the power pack upgrade, but overall it's a solid product.
Anyway, here's more info http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/windowshomeserver/default.mspx
