With Simmons herr, what will our base/nickel packages look like? Who is vulnerable to lose snaps?

I’m really curious.

What do you guys think?
I think we will see a variety of fronts and some may be exotic. I can see 2-5-4’s and 3-5-3 alignments as well as the standard 3-4.

I don’t think Simmons will replace any one guy. I think down and distance will determine if he replaces Campbell, Kennard, Murphy or Thompson.

I can see Simmons playing OLB on the strong side for the TE or covering the slot. By OLB I'm meaning it like this. 3 DL, 2 edge rushers, 2 ILB, 2 CB & 2 safeties. Simmons would kind of be a spy/OLB/safety playing on either side of Hicks & Campbell. That alignment would be our best bet imo. 5-3-3 so to speak.

I think its more about the ability to disguise blitzes and coverage rather than alignment. I see a lot of times where he and Budda walk to the line and you don't know if they are Blitzing or dropping back into Cover 2 or Cover 3.

How would you throw Jalen into the equation? Even more center deep?
