GREEN BAY - With one more week until the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, fans will be pleased with updates from the National Weather Service Green Bay regarding the forecast during the draft.
April 24-26, which are the days of the draft, are expected to be dry. On April 23, the day before the draft, there is a 30%-40% ..
Early temperature forecasts shows April 23 to be around the 40s, before it gets warmer as the draft goes on. April 24-25 could be as high as 60.
Timm Uhlmann, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service Green Bay, said that by April 18, the weather service will get a better idea of the forecast for draft week.
"We're rapidly closing in on where we're going to start getting a better beat on things here. I think Friday, we'll be able to give you some idea, maybe the periods to watch for rain," Uhlmann told the Press-Gazette. "And then by Monday, we'll probably tell you more specifically, if we're starting to look at any thunder potential or anything like that."
The Old Farmer's Almanac's April 2025 long-range weather forecast for the upper Midwest, which describes weather conditions from April 20-30 as "very warm, then chilly," with drizzle in the east and sun in the west.
The National Weather Service records daily temperature highs, lows and averages, as well as precipitation and snowfall measurements, going as far back as September 1886. An analysis of weather from April 24-26 over the past 10 years provides a glimpse into the kind of weather Green Bay could see during the draft.
Consistently over the decade there has been very low precipitation each of the three days, with the highest being 0.26 inch on April 24, 2023. Snow during the three-day period has been generally nonexistent, with no days having any more than a trace amount.
