I had been writing this summer about the Houston Rockets' desire to trade forward Ryan Anderson. Anderson is due $20.42 million next season and held little value to the Rockets, particularly following the acquisition of forward Carmelo Anthony. Last week, Houston finally dealt Anderson, in a package with rookie guard De'Anthony Melton, for guard Brandon Knight, and center Marqueese Chriss. Given their current roster construct, Houston's need is another long wing defender to aid forwards P.J. Tucker and James Ennis. While the Rockets added Ennis, they lost forwards Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute this summer, slashing into the wing depth that was a major strength of the team last season. I
