For a few days, it looked like the Los Angeles Lakers had found their next head coach in former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue. One contract dispute later, the Lakers are back at square one and moving onto the next group of coaching candidates, including one coach the team was previously considering for an assistant job. Lakers expand their coaching search Per The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Lakers are now considering former Brooklyn Nets head coach Lionel Hollins, former Indiana Pacers head coach Frank Vogel and former Atlanta Hawks head coach Mike Woodson.
