This is one of my favorite movies. Steve Prefontaine was an incredible runner back in the early 70's. This movie is based on his life, which included training for the Olympics in Munich. He was from a small town called Coos Bay Oregon and went to college in Eugene (University of Oregon).

All runners, and any sports fans in general, need to see this movie. The running scenes were absolutely amazing.

This film was also made on the same subject. It evolves more like a documentary, but it is still awesome. If you plan to watch both of these movies, I would suggest watching this one first because Without Limits is much better. This one might be disappointing if you see Without Limits first.

Okay, 2 years later. Has anyone seen this movie?

I've been slacking on my running lately and I'm watching this movie again to get me motivated.

Possibly my favorite movie of all time.

Anyone here wear Nike shoes?

Saw both movies when they came out. I was running Track in college at the time and used the videos as motivation from time to time even though I was middle distance...
