Kyler Murray also reiterated his shoulder is fine. Said again that he's not running as much because the defenses are playing him so he'll hand it off.

This annoys me. If teams are over playing Kyler running then they are not doing something else.
The whole point of football is if teams try to stop you doing A you hurt them with B. When they try to stop B you hurt them with A. Sadly, in this case I think the Plan B would be passes over the middle which we can't do.
Just off the top of my head, my British, never played football in my life brain knows that if Kyler is running a designed run then the O line can run block. So if you have a 250 lb linebacker in the flat playing contain why not just have a 300lb tackle drive his ass into the ground?

I mean almost all of Kylers running plays are options, where he can decide to keep the ball and run or give it to the running back based on how the linebacker is playing. Teams are telling their linebackers to always cover Kyler now, so Kyler is running less. The "A" that you're talking about is Drake/Chase have guaranteed one less guy going after them when they run the ball. We are trying to hurt them with "A", but it's not enough because Chase/Drake arent ridiculously talented like Kyler. Just know that whatever our RBs numbers are now, they would be much worse with a different QB.
