I don't have any reasonable explanations but I see us winning this important game. Don't ask me how.
I’m with ya. Have no reason why I can point to either.

Lately Keim’s been signing FAs that just can’t stay on the field.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

NFL Week 14 picks: Steelers lose Sunday night thriller to Bills, Giants upset Cardinals to keep NFC East lead - CBSSports.comI'm not sure if the Giants and Cardinals switched uniforms after Week 8, but it kind of feels that way. The Cards are 1-4 since their Week 8 bye and they would be 0-5 if they hadn't beaten the Bills with a prayer throw. I'm not sure if they offended the Pope or something with their Hail Mary, but I'm starting to feel that way.
I think the Cardinals' biggest issue right now is that it seems like Kyler Murray is afraid to run, which has made their offense one-dimensional. Murray injured his shoulder in Week 10 and since then, he's averaged 20.3 rushing yards per game. That's a huge difference when you consider that he averaged 67.1 between Weeks 1 thru 9. Murray the dual-threat quarterback is nearly impossible to beat, but Murray the one-dimensional quarterback is very beatable.
I have no idea who's going to be starting at quarterback for the Giants, and I thought about making two picks for this game -- one for if Daniel Jones plays and one if he doesn't -- but then I decided that I don't care who starts. The Giants defense did such a good job of bottling up Russell Wilson that I'm 99% sure that they're going to be able to do the same thing to Kyler Murray.
Pete Prisco's Week 14 NFL picks: Giants win again, Bears finally end slide, Steelers take another loss - CBSSports.comThe Cardinals have lost three straight games and are struggling on offense. The Giants, on the other hand, are playing outstanding defense. That battle will decide this game. I think the edge goes to the Giants defense. Daniel Jones should be back in this game for New York at quarterback and I think he will play well. Giants take it.
Pick: Giants 24, Cardinals 20
I mean almost all of Kylers running plays are options, where he can decide to keep the ball and run or give it to the running back based on how the linebacker is playing. Teams are telling their linebackers to always cover Kyler now, so Kyler is running less. The "A" that you're talking about is Drake/Chase have guaranteed one less guy going after them when they run the ball. We are trying to hurt them with "A", but it's not enough because Chase/Drake arent ridiculously talented like Kyler. Just know that whatever our RBs numbers are now, they would be much worse with a different QB.
A couple weeks ago we signed DT Daylon Mack to our practice squad. Only noteworthy because when Kyler was being recruiting to Texas A&M Mack was considered just as valuable a recruit. He's probably not very good but with our DL depth we might have to play him in the near future.
The Cards are in real danger of getting out-coached again. They shutdown Wilson and I don’t see anything indicating Kingsbury has any new ideas.
If you watch the video of the KM weekly press conferences, he does NOT respond to criticism well at ALL. His body language changes, he dismisses the question, often criticizes the person who’s asking the question. It’s rather childish.I can just picture Murray pouting as he's responding to the question.
If teams are telling their linebackers to always cover Kyler now then why run options? There is no option. Run a designed QB run play, pull a guard out and have them run block Kyler. Or line your TE up in the slot and have them run block back inside and seal the edge so the LB can't get out to Kyler. Or have your tight ends run routes behind the linebackers for short passes.
Or 101 other things we could do other than try to run the same old plays that the defense has already adjusted for.
