I will acknowledge that there has been some bad comic book movies in the past.... like some of the Batman movies, the Avengers and the Lungren Punisher. This is just concentrating on the last few years, when comic books became relevant.

I have to go with the first Hulk.

Ang Lee should never have been allowed to do a comic book film.

UGH.

Out of the movies listed, I really hope they reboot the Fantastic Four. I hated the cast and I hated the story. However, the story in the first movie was pretty true to the back story of the comic (with the exception of Dr Doom). Maybe I just hated the casting.... I would appreciate a more dark, somber approach to the characters instead of a lollypop story (I guess)

I voted for the first Hulk movie, but I never saw a couple of them.

Personally, the worst for me was the 3rd X-Men movie. I liked the first 2, but the last one was a steaming pile.

If you paid to see all of these movies in the theatre, I feel bad for you.

Fortunately, I didn't see any of these movies in the theater. The first Hulk is the only superhero movie that actually put me to sleep. I still haven't seen the second Hulk.

I cancelled HBO immediately after watching five minutes of Fantastic Four.

Ghost Rider, because it had Cage in it.

While all of those movies were bad, Catwoman was beyond horrendous. I'm guessing not many here have seen it.

*out of breath*

Here I am! Whew, almost missed an amazing thread!

My vote is for Ghost Rider.
Not to say some of those other movies aren't terrible (although, in honesty Electra didn't bother me too much) but it was the cream of the crap crop.

And while Nic Cage didn't help, he's a huge geek himself, so at least his heart was in the right place. And the girl with the boobs is always nice to look at. And Sam Elliot is the man I wish I were.

No, my reason is simple. Ghost Rider didn't work as a movie for the same reason it didn't work as a comic:
Long on splash pages, short on story.

The fact is, it's hard to make GH look dumb. He's a flaming skull on a motorcycle and even at it's worst, it'll always look cool. But there's nothing substantial bellow that.
Many capable writers have tried and failed to breathe a long-term spark of engagement into the character.
At the end of the day, GH is a great poster, and that's about it.

By far Catwoman. Not only was the writing bad but the acting was incredibly bad all the way around. At least with the others on the list I found something redeeming about them even if I felt they were disappointing or were not that good.

There were ZERO redeeming qualities about Catwoman.

Gotta go with Steel on this one.... Even with the great looking Halle bouncing around, this movie was absolutely abysmal......

I voted Daredevil, but only because I had high expectations for it (in spite of Affleck in the title role). It coulda been a contenda ... should've been a great movie.

Catwoman was really bad.

Elektra was bad.

Daredevil was disappointing.

The FF movies are what they are: bubblegum pop versions of comic book movies; they accomplished what they set out to do, IMO.

I actually liked the first Hulk movie. Same with Ghost Rider (though I think liking that one was a result of going in with very low expectations).

Good point about the FF movies, my expectations were way too high.

Definitely Catwoman. I'm pretty sure that movie was written by a couple of high school kids.

This will make it even worse for you... I agree it was a really bad movie and voted it the worst, but the time "Halle Berry" was bouncing around (the only thing good for you), it was not her, worse yet her double was a dude (not that there is anything wrong with that)...
