Every year it seems we hear the experts call the current draft class weak. This year is no exception, but could it be the worst? It has some stiff competition with the draft class of 2000. Take a look at this stinker of a class. http://www.nbadraft.net/nba_draft_history/2000.html
Top 10:
1. Kenyon Martin
2. Stromile Swift
3. Darius Miles
4. Marcus Fizer
5. Mike Miller
6. DeMarr Johnson
7. Chris Mihm
8. Jamal Crawford
9. Joel Przybilla
10. Keyon Dooling
Mike Miller ended up winning ROY because Kenyon Martin broke his leg or something. The Suns were delighted when Big Jake fell into their laps at the 25th pick due to contract disputes with his Euro club. Lucky us. The 2006 draft was not as bad despite it being diluted by the newly instituted eligibility rule requiring entrants to be a year removed from high school.
