I think there is one thing we all agree on and i just want to see if it's true. Who is the worst player that starts for the Cards. Not worst player for where they were drafted but just the overall worst player that suits up every week. I think only two guys are even in consideration but i'll put a choice down for other. I didn't include special teamers(Rackers) because they aren't on the field every play.

Reggie Wells at least isn't completely useless in pass blocking. Terence Holt is probably the worst non-draft signing that the Cards have made in a long time. I'm not sure there can be any question that this team would have been better off keeping Griffith around for another year.

Al Johnson and Rod Hood were solid free agent signings last year. Gandy was a very average one (upgraded because we were desperate for a warm body to plug into the LT position). But Holt and Shipp were terrible signings. Perhaps it's for the best if Rod Graves keeps his promise and stays out of the free agent pool next year.

To be fair, the original poster started a thread with the best player, and probably just wanted discussion on both good and bad.

I voted Holt. It got me thinking when was the last time we had a good FS. Holt is terrible. Griffith was below average as a FS. Olahate(sp.) may have been worse than Holt. Dexter Jackson is still not good. Tillman wasn't that good a FS,more of a hitter than anything else. Kwame Lassiter is the best i can think of going back a ways. Maybe we should draft Kenny Phillips. Holt's play is so bad i almost wish we would have signed Kaesvisharn:barf:. Does KK even see the field in NO? What a sad choice of FA safeties we were looking at.

Wow, what a positive thread this is...........

What is the value of this?
Well i also put a poll on who is the best player. That poll has 30 votes, 3 responses and 142 views. This one has 50+votes, 300+ views, and 10+ responses. That should tell you something.

That avatar represents what Cbus thinks of the BCS system in college football.

Holt. I didn't even notice the poll and thought of him.

Tie

They are both worthless...

I was wrong about Holt. I thought he would really solidify or S position with Wison but wow, has he been bad!

Teams weren't exactly beating a path to Terrible Terence's door last off season. You have to wonder what Graves and company saw in him. He can't tackle in the open field. He can't make plays in the passing game. He is not in the least instinctive. I wish Darnell would beat the crap out of HIM. He is probably the 50th best free safety in the league as I'm sure there are a few backups better.

OTOH, Antrel Rolle is a horrible CB. I've come around the idea of converting him to free safety and drafting/acquiring two cornerbacks this offseason.

The problem with the Cardinals secondary is that, out of the first 5 DBs, they had two guys who could cover but not tackle, Hood and Green, and two guys who could tackle but not cover in Rolle and Wilson, and one guy who couldn't do anything, Holt.

Is it just my imagination or does it seem like Seattle's secondary play has dramatically improved since they hired Jim Mora II and let their previous coach leave for the Cardinals? :(
