Not just the NFL but in all of football. In all my life I've never heard of a team being unable to cross midfield. I'd say our team sucks but I don't think we're that good. At least my fantasy team is winning.

We did cross the 50 at the end of the game. Moral victory

It seems pretty dismal right now. No doubt. But we just played one of the best teams in the league.

Let's see how we look at home next week before we start jumping out of windows.

:biglaugh:

Come on, I know you’re smarter & better than believing that!

This team has been historically pitiful in 2 games on both sides of the ball, historically pitiful!!! Let that sink in.

No, you're right Bucky. We're a laughing stock right now, and I think there's a chance we might not win a game this year.

But I'm reserving final judgement until after next week's game.

What makes you think things will get better? There is no excuse for a professional football team to not be able to cross midfield. There is no excuse how a professional football quarterback can throw 27 passes and only gain 90 yards. Lindley wasn't this bad. I've been a fan of this team since 1975 and never seen them this bad. The Bills would beat this team right now.

Seriously, the Bills would kill us. We are worse than the early Buccaneer teams of the 70’s, and that’s saying a lot. At least they actually had a very good HC.

Irrational hope?

Its a new coaching staff, new QB, new guys on the online.

I'm hoping, hoping, hoping that things will start to come together in week three.

I don't bother to pay for Direct TV and my wife is a Chiefs fan.. Mahommes is a BEAST and although I am unfortunately always going to be a Cardinal fan lord I wish I could change my mind cause THAT guy is AMAZING! He's just so matter of fact and I kept thinking gee I wish the Cardinals had him then I think, no, no one should wish that on someone.

I am from Kansas City and my family are all Chiefs fans. It’s tough to watch

Ah, someone who knows how it feels! I am a pro Cardinal fan in that this is nothing, having a punter / QB combo ever on your team means we are tough. Mahommes though.... I don't even know that I've ever seen any QB look that good to start the season. His arm is so strong and he's just in the zone. My wife is laughing at me when I was happy there was no score in the first quarter. Going to be a long time before this gets better. I think the Chiefs play the Cardinals this year but no way I'd go see that beat down.

Those Bucs teams had an excuse. They were an expansion team. This team is beyond embarrassing and Wilks needs to apologize to the fan base. I'm willing to endure a rough start in order for a young team to get their feet wet but this team has enough talent to be at least competitive. I mean, as I said, there's no excuse for a professional football team to be unable to cross midfield. The Rams defense is good but they're not the '85 Bears. These last 2 weeks have more to do with coaching ineptitude than poor talent. 6 points in 2 weeks.

Come on, you're being too hard on them. Give it 14 more games, then we'll re-evaluate.

Wilks' plan of domination: by game 4, get good at crossing midfield by at least the end of the 3rd quarter. By game 8, get good at scoring a point or 3 so we don't get shut out consistently. By game 12 we can start losing by single digits, and one of our final games we'll eek out a win against another team who's packed it in because they're out of playoff contention.

We all just need a a few more months of patience. I can't wait for that end of year win, it will taste so sweet.

You know, I said at least my fantasy team is winning but I have 146 points and am going to struggle to win. Thanks Steelers defense and kicker.

We already saw how we looked at home... against the one team most pundits would reluctantly give us a possible win, are you THAT optimistic?

The defense is completely hopeless, and the offense is even worse.
There is no reason for optimism.... NONE.

Bosa and a new head coach is our best case scenario.
