6'8" who played for the Cav, and played for the Celtic in the past. Can play a little 2, 3, and even some 4. 10 points 4 rebounds 1 steal for Cavs last year. Early in his career averaged over 15 a couple of time. Good defensive player, can rebound. Good team player. Should not be too expensive to get. He could add some D to a team which is full of offense first guys. Could add a littlle spark ala Bo Outlaw. Might be worth a look. Not a difference maker, but could be a piece to a decent bench. Thoughts?

There is a reason that Cavs traded for Pavlovic and drafted Luke Jackson. He is 32 years and shot 36.6% including 25.3% for three. In 27.5 minutes he grabbed only 3.8 rebounds. He may be a good defender, but his stats don't give me warm fuzzies.

He needs minutes to be productive, he'll not find with shawn Marion but he's a good reserve in case of an injury. He started 36 games in Cleveland.

Unless he comes in at veteran minimum, I can't see it happening. The Suns have Zarko and Casey who can play SF. I actually think Casey is better at SF than SG, although he is not tall enough to defend some of the SF's.

Evem if Q does not come here, we should have enough scoring without CJ, who has been a major bust for a 1st rounder. I would rather have Williams than CJ. For me, it is not even close. Casey can shoot sometimes. That is all he can do. Very limited skills in my opinion.

Casey was taken ahead of some better picks, but he is about what one would expect for a guy taken in the 20's. This is not the NFL, a guy taken int he 20's of the first round is about like a 5th round pick in the NFL.

In any case, Jacobsen's 41.7% for three is a major weapon. That is what the Suns drafted him for and I would not be shocked to seem him and Nash together when opponents try packing the paint.

No way, I'd rather have another Williams... SCOTT WILLIAMS.

If Q does become a Sun, Williams would probably be the best the team could hope for. He is pretty limited, but at least you know what he can do and he is used to playing inside. Eric Williams is a defense only SF.

BTW, I look Eric to return to Boston.

i think it's wrong to call him a bust as a 20+ draft pick. we've been spoiled with our late round selections. most of 'em do NOT end up being michael finleys. he's a rotational player. we didn't strike gold, but he doesn't completely suck. that, and he's still young. give him time to grow into a bit more basketball savvy and he'll be an adequate player.

If Casey develops a mid range game, he will be a lot more effective. Right now he is strictly three's or driving the basket. A pull up jumper and a runner would be huge. Plus he needs to speed up the mechanics of his shot so he does not have to be completely wide open to shoot. Still, I don't see any reason why this won't happen. I still think he will become a Steve Kerr type player, who BTW was once a Sun and was cut.
