Would you want Terrelle Pryor?

Former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor ran forty-yard dash times of 4.38 and 4.41 at his Saturday Pro Day, but completed just 27-of-39 passes in the throwing portion of the workout.

17 teams sent representatives. After weighing in at 6-foot-5, 232, Pryor ran on FieldTurf, which is considered a legit surface for forty times. Clearly, he's got elite long speed, even for a wide receiver. The supplemental draft prospect hurt himself in the passing workout, however. Pryor is regarded to have off-the-charts athleticism (evidenced by his forty), but struggles to throw the ball on a straight line. The Pro Day confirmed all preconceived beliefs.

He publically stated he would play a position other than QB.

I would call him if I wanted a cheap tattoo, but that is about it.

No, but I might be interested in the NT prospect that is allegedly on the bloc for the supplemental draft.

Like Billy Bob, I saw an interview that John Gruden did with Pryor the other day, and when Gruden asked him how he would answer him when he asked Pryor if he was willing to become a WR, Pryor said, ("Coach Gruden is too smart to ask me to do that").

I heard it on ESPN Radio today, where he first said he was thankful to be re-instated, he wouldn't appeal his suspension and he wanted to play any position.

I would take him in a second with those 40 times. Speed like that is a great weapon. He would be a killer wildcat option, you could line him up at tailback, have him split out into the flat and go empty backfield. He could give defenses real trouble.

You have to figure out if he has learned from the poor decisions he has made. He has already lost his big payday and I think he would be on the straight and narrow to try for the big contract in 3 years. These are the kind of moves that NE, Pitt, and the Eagles make because of the strong coaching staff and locker room.

Didn't we draft a former QB from FSU and turn him into a WR. HUH now who could have that been. Oh yes "Q."

Pryor is just a pure athlete. Whiz did wonders with Randle El ant Pitts. Wasn't he also a former QB.

But what the heck do I know?

NFL QB is probably as tough of a job as any out there. it's not for the faint of heart. There's something to having pryor's athletic god given ability. But all of those years of being the king don't really prep one for the adversities that you will face in the NFL being the face of a franchise. same is true of many others..to include vince young...my guy.

He would upgrade Max and Bartell easily, and maybe our 2nd receiver not so easily,

He is an athlete, better than Andre as a 3rd rounder.

He is a Raider because we all know Al Davis' dream is to be the first NFL team to compete in the Olympics. I can see Rosenhaus (sp?) right now days before the Raiders claimed Pryor, "Just run really fast and we need to get a video tape of you throwing the ball 80 yards (can you do that on your knees?)...you will be a Raider, trust me. Oh your problems with the law and such, don't worry, that is actually a plus with the Raiders"

Hell He got some Tatoos traded some earned merchandise. Aint like Bush or Miami.

I think the Ohio State thingy is completely blow out of proportion, unless there is more? I can't see, Tressle made a mistake, protected his boys, The NCAA let them play the bowl! Why aint the NCAA policing itself!

yea they deserve some punishment, but damn, Coach T is a good man and a good coach.

Is there more crime I haven't heard about Pryor? or just the Tats? that is an every day occurrence in the south.

My thoughts on Pryor ar the same with any QB prospect. I tend to shy away from gifted athletes who have gotten by on their natural talent in college and high school. My QB can have stone feet as long as he has a strong/accurate arm and a good head on his shoulders.

Speed fades. Game smarts don't.
