NFL | Brown Wants to Return - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
11:15 PT: Jay Glazer, of SportsLine.com reports former NFL QB Dave Brown said he would like to return to the league. After a few seasons away from football, Brown wants to return to mentor young QBs and possibly get a shot at starting again<p>Another headline could have said "The statue seeks a return". The only QB in the league who would stay in the pocket looking for a receiver long enough to have a pigeon dump on him.

I might get flamed for this, but when he replaced Jake for a few games, we were actually more competitive because he made fewer killer mistakes. But I'm not suggesting bringing him back.

I actually might bring him back as an assistant Qbs coach. One thing Brown has always been good at, was being a mentor since he is such an intelligent guy.

thats why your gunna like BLAKE.

He isnt a great QB but he wont make as many mistakes, and WILL find a WR if hes open...

That alone will make the QB an upgrade over the last few years...

Now adays you dont need a great QB, only need a guy to manage the game and make no mistakes...
