Baron Corbin was unsuccessful in an overbooked attempt to capture the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns, who retained in a match filled with outside interference, while Paul Heyman spoke on Brock Lesnar's behalf to kick off Raw. The Undertaker also continued the ongoing build to his match against Triple H in Australia and even announced that his brother Kane would be in his corner to counteract Triple H being accompanied by Shawn Michaels during the big main event. Last week's Raw viewership held steady with just a 5% drop and it'll be interesting to see if WWE's smaller, yet more hardcore, audience combined with Monday Night Football's erosion will offset fall declines in viewership.
