Xbox arcade: Spelunky

Watched a video on monday and thought it looked kinda lame. tried the trial last night and LOVE it. Appears to be muliplayer local also which is a huge bonus in my house. Recommend the trial, its like mario crossed with strategy.

PS how many of us use xbox and how many play a lot of arcade? Thinkin of weekly threads and discussions on the deals of the week, hidden discounts, new releases and etc but only if theres a healthy amount of people. Otherwise ill stick to my websites I read at home that talk about it. All gaming stuff is banned here at work.

I am very very active on arcade (never buy full games anymore really) always watching all the deals and new releases and own at least 50 of the arcadfe games released over the last few years.

I don't do a ton of arcade, mainly because I'm occupied with my older games I'm still trying to complete. But I do like to catch good deals and hear about new games that are out there. I really liked Limbo and Castle Crashers.

Limbo I wasnt huge on and castle crashers tend to always show as one of the most popular arcade games ever. always tempted to buy it.

Noticed recently an app released for specials and deals. Deal of the week always drops on tuesdays anyway.

Id have to go through my list to say my top arcade games but off the top of my head:

Trials HD
Trials Evolution
Worms
Worms Armageddon
Braid

Thats all I can think of right now but there are a TON of other ones that I would highly recommend.

Been playing Trials Evo with my kids. Having a blast!

Spelunky is also up to 4 players, played it with all the kids over weekend and even the 4 year old can keep up, kinda. He plays trials too but basically just holds down the accelerator and crashes all day

I'm going to break down and buy this Trials one of these days. Just based on what you guys are saying, it sounds pretty fun.

BTW owned spelunky for a while now and LOVE this game but it is very difficult FYI. Makes it far worth the money to me. Reminds me of being a kid in the arcade and only getting 3 lives and making the best of it. You will die and lose over and over and over. GREAT game. VERY original. Cannot give it enough praise.
