Fans and teams appreciate nothing more than analysts' initial grades on the free agency signings from this first week. Are we joking? Of course not; we would never judge a signing before it pans out, but then again, maybe we would.
Frank Schwab of Yahoo Sports posted his initial grades for teams after their signings from the week. In his grades, he included both new players and players they re-signed. Schwab gave the Bucs a B grade for their moves early on in the process.
Schwab writes for his explanation of the grade, "While it came down to the wire, it's not a surprise Tampa Bay figured out a way to retain Chris Godwin and Lavonte David. Adding Haason Reddick was a worthwhile gamble."
It is simple to highlight the big names but they are really doing a lot of the heavy lifting for this class. Outside of those three important signings, the next biggest is punter Riley Dixon.
