Yankees hit 6 HRs, but Tigers get walk-off win

Jordy Mercer hit a game-winning RBI single in the ninth and the host Detroit Tigers overcame a six-homer onslaught by the New York Yankees to capture a 12-11 win on Tuesday. Grayson Greiner hit a one-out double off Chance Adams (1-1) and Mercer followed with his single to right, knocking in pinch runner Willi Castro. Jeimer Candelario drove in three runs for the Detroit, while Christin Stewart homered and knocked in two runs.
