In their AL division series against Minnesota, the New York Yankees used an efficient outing from CC Sabathia to win the opener, followed by a solid enough effort from A.J. Burnett to help them take a 2-0 series lead. The Yankees hope that pattern continues in the AL championship series Saturday night when they send Burnett to the mound in Game 2 against the Los Angeles Angels.
