I screamed for him and everyone here insulted it. Now he only is tearing it up now...He would be perfect for our offense and line. We would be an EASY playoff contender with McNabb. In fact a few ESPN guys said we would have been a Super Bowl contender with him.

I agree CC, McNabb would have made this team much better than what it is today. It wouldn't have solved the O line problems, but this offense would be vastly different than the crap we are witnessing now.

Super bowl contenders? :lmao:

McNabb doesn't play defense. This team has some huge holes at other positions.

It'd be better than DA but how many QBs would've gone out there today and won with the swiss cheese D?

McNabb would have been great with a decent OL. The way rushers are getting through... he'd already be out with an injury.

The year we went to the SuperBowl our defense was just as bad in many games.

Since we are on the topic of complaining about stuff that didn't happen in the past, why the hell didn't we lose another game in 1997 or just trade up instead of trading down and get Peyton Manning? I mean we would be Super Bowl contenders with Manning at the helm. I was screaming and screaming for it too, but hey they don't listen to me either.

Yes...But McNabb we could have had for a 4th round pick and he practices and has a home in Phoenix. It would have been an easy get.

Didn't you say we would be fine with DA and score 30 points a game? You say a whole lot of things.

+1, hell I think in addition to that I think we should just keep rehashing Leinart, McNabb, Campbell, Hall, Skelton, DA.. etc til our asses fall off

Yes I did...But I also thought we were going to throw 5+ deep balls a game. I mean we still throw 10 yard passes all game.

But yes I did...But McNabb is tearing it up right now. 350+ yards with 3 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter.

As I have said before. DA can throw the ball far but does not throw a good deep ball. He has no idea where any of his passes are going. I wanted McNabb before the season started and would have taken Campbell or Bulgar over DA.

We have all forgot to give a little credit to our loss on the GM who chose to start an NFL season with only a backup rookie at QB. That borders on stupidity. Any QB could get hurt and most miss some time each season so what was our GM thinking? Is he living on our two division championships. Mr. Graves Kurt is gone! Duh! You need an experienced backup for many reasons. They way our QB was getting pounded today he will be lucky to play next week.

Blaming the GM when the coach decided ML wouldn`t work out in AZ.Who`s damn fault is that? Whiz screwed the pooch and its time to pay the piper. So bitch about the one who cut the vet backup.

Didn't they give up a 2nd and a 4th to get McNabb?

I thought it was a 2nd and switching of picks. They had to pay a premium to trade within the division. We could have given our 3rd round pick and had a shot IMO.

McNabb is not the answer, but neither is DA! Please are we going to hear about McNabb forever????

This

As much as I love what Warner did for us, I dont like the concept of bringing in QBs in their mid to late 30s and using them as duct tape for the position. For once, Id like to see this team successfully groom a young QB out of the draft and lead it to success for 10+ years. With Warner, he did not really get it going until he turned 37. Then he retired two years after. Fortunately, his success came at a great time, which was during the failed Leinart experiment. And no, Jake Plummer was not a success story.

My feeling is we are coming closer and closer to getting that franchise QB which so many teams in the league have. It may have to take one more year before we find him. Derek is not the answer and it is unlikely Hall and Skelton are either. Next year's 1st round pick should be geared towards getting that franchise QB not named Locker (overrated). Hopefully in that scenario we get "Lucky" ;)

Some folks haven't learned that screaming on a message board is worth just about nothing. Every team would win the SuperBowl every year if screaming were the solution. We are after all just the fans.

My team makes me tired today. :(
