Wow, last nights game was very exciting! I was disapointed at the 1st intermission after a crap-tastic first period. But the 2nd and 3rd were VERY entertaining. Nice to see Lenny get a win.

How bad is Mike Comrie? Everytime that guy is on the ice it seems he is turning the puck over! And then to see him pull #2 star, I almost threw up! I don't care what the score sheet says, that guy is garbage. Also, I'm not even sure his goal in the 3rd should be credited to him.

I also thought that goal was Johnson's.

I do not like Comrie at all. He has the talent to have 60 points a season, but it seems like he doesn't work hard. I would be all for packaging him and Boucher for a #2 center or a draft pick.

How about Mike Leclerc though? Did he have this type of potential when we traded for him or is he just playing out of his body?

I've been meaning to look up some info on him, too.

I don't even remember hearing his name until I heard a preseason game on the radio. I was like, "I thought LeClair went to the Pens."

I had the same reaction when I first heard his name called. Had to look him up too. Aquired from Anaheim for a conditional 4th round draft choice in 2007 on Aug. 23, 2005.

I'll give you that Comrie hasn't done much all year, but neither has Doan, Johnson or Nagy.

Last night he got 1 goal, 2 assists and was a +1. At 6 points for the season he is 2 shy of the team lead. The score sheet might not impress some, but to me when you are involved in 3 of 5 goals in a winning effort, that says something. If he can keep his head in the right place, I think he could have a pretty good season.

I thought Ballard had a bad game last night. He's looked good every other game, but this one he just seemed a little slow, a little off. LeClerc, Johnson and Nagy all looked great. Now they just need to repeat that 70 more times.

Either Cox or FSN botched their HD broadcast. All I got was a black screen with audio.

I thopught Comrie's stats looked fine last night. Did you see the play in the 1st where we were on the power play and his hot-dogging turned the puck over to the other team. He is so frustrating to watch. For every point he gets he matches it with some bone head puck handling that results in a scoring chance for the other team. I guess I'm not talking about just last night, but since he's come here. I thought he was supposed to be a top 1st or 2nd center here, but I'd just assume see him scratched.

As for Ballard. I seriously love this kid. Last night was not his best game, but I do love seeing the 2 blocked shots. I love how he won't back down with the leagues tough guys and is willing to lay down in front of shots. I see a lot of leadership already in that kid.
