They are fake. It takes a lot more effort to heave that ball those distances. In fact, some of those distances are beyond most peoples ability. Go out an heave a bball and see if you can get it to go 150 feet.

Plus when you heave that distance outside, you have to consider other factors. not impossible but most likely fakes.

I watched those multiple times and if they are edited, someone did a damn fine job, because the trajectories are right on. The ones where the ball leaves the camera's field of view could easily have been faked so I didn't even worry about them. For the bulk of the others I'd say the easiest way to come up with the video would be to have some guy with a good arm keep trying until he did it. Or several taking turns.

The one really long shot seems the most likely to be faked because it did appear too far for a person to heave the ball once, let alone the hundreds of trials you'd need to succeed.

5 blocks vs. Toronto. 'Not too shabby!

He always seems to know where to be on the court and when to reach out, without committing silly fouls.

That's a significant reason for his success. One that gets taken for granted.

Oh, if only Robin Lopez had the basketball IQ to learn from him in practice as he learned from Dwight Howard.

I saw three times vs. Toronto where Lopez was right in the middle of a loose ball/rebounding situation and just stood there and watched like a deer in the headlights.

Instead of Gortat's skills motivating him, they seem to be intimidating him even more. He has to be given a fresh start during the off-season if we can find a team that's willing to take the chance.
