That when the Cards were the talk of the town, they lost to the team they played that week badly.

For instance, they were on fire and the media was all over them before the Rams game. We all know happened there. This week, the media was all over them again, and see what happened against Seattle. These guys need to stop looking at the media when they are on top and think they can walk in and win. The thing that scares me about this is if they get to the Super Bowl and are favored to win, will they lay another egg like this?

This whole week, they were favored to win it all. It got to most of the players, like BA said in his presser.

They're human. Top teams are so close if you don't bring intensity you get smacked down. We didn't bring it they did end of story for me.

People are reading way too much into this game today. Does anyone really think the Cardinals brought their A+ gameplan and gameplay today with a low chance at getting the number 1 seed at the risk of showing their cards before the playoffs?

The Cards are fine, they are one of the elite, top two or three teams in the NFL. Everyone take a deep breath and relax.

All that means nada starting next week. If you execute & don't turnover the ball, you will likely win the Super Bowl.

I think the Big Red will do that :D

Look, I'm usually one of the first posters to be critical about something wrong with the team. It should tell you something that I know--I don't feel, I KNOW--that this game meant absolutely nothing. Nothing at all.

I watched most of the Bronco game since my wife is a fan and that had major playoff implications and the Cards game didn't. I just helped her root for her team for a change.

This. It was a stale showing by all, coaches included. Was the plan to get detroyed, no. Was the plan to not expose plays, packages, etc yes. Big Red will come out firing in 2 weeks and be right back on track where they should be. Feel bad for the 1st team they will be playing!

Yea this game was quite frankly a meaningless game for the Cardinals. The only thing that possibly made a difference from this game was Palmer's ranking in the MVP race which Newton probably wrapped up for sure after today.

YOu had an entire team playing not to get injured. They knew Carolina was going to win, and they knew this was a preseason game. This game means nothing, especially the score.

The only negative here is that, when you play to not get injured, you often get injured. Thankfully it seems like we didn't sustain any injuries.

These two teams already know each other too well. The coaches didn't do anything special to motivate them, but Arians said he EXPECTS professionals to motivate themselves for the games. They attempted a bit of a comeback early but they took themselves out with NO run game (OL looked really outplayed) , really poor passes, terrible special teams play and the ref obliged the rest with a real piss poor call on a big return. After that it was mailed in very much.
