Rod Graves says we're eyeing a restricted free agent and all the sudden we're trading our #6 to some team that's of course willing to give us two 1st rounders for it and then we're signing KGB and Darrell Jackson!

Wow.

I know that's what boards are for but i hate to pee on the parade and say that none of this is substantiated in the slightest. It's fiction at this point.

For all we know, the RFA could be some kicker.

ED has anyone said this is what we are going to do? No, just what (hypothetical) would be a GOOD thing to do. At least get your facts straight before you "pee on the parade".

No, but when a thread has 45 responses about who we're trading picks to and where we're gonna line up the RFAs we're gonna sign, it indicates to me that people are taking pure, unadulterated rumor a little too seriously.

When the RFA comes to town to visit we'll know exactly who it is.

Jurecki started this whole thing (well actually pinnacle did) by making the suggestion the Cards trade down with the Jets (who will have 2 #1s after Coles signs with WAS) and then using one of the #1s and going after KGB. That thread...which I am in deep...is just us yapping about the concept and not suggesting it could even happen. Just rolling through the ideas is all.
