Do not show anything close to being reigning division champs. Nothing remotly close in four weeks of NFL play.

But you allready knew this.

Everyone clamering for Hall has gotten what they asked for (allthough I can't blame them at this point). This team is going into the break @ 2-3, because I really don't have any hope of knocking off NO next week at our place.

Then we are coming off a bye w/ a rookie at the most complicated/demanding position in sports.

This team better have a game plan other than what they showed today.

Game Planning????? We don't do ang game planning. How does the great Grimm's line give up 9 sacks. The game plan was to let Philips run free and see if he could catch the Cardinal QB or maybe A. Wilson try to run with Gates. Now that's game planning.

I believe as most do, that Davis and Whis are over-their-heads against coaches like the Charges have and wait to see what happens next week.

I can't wait to hear Whis's excuses for this loss. Maybe worst than any of the blowouts from the last two years. I also believe that the preseason practices are too soft. We have tougher practices for our Pop Warner teams.

Someone has to pay for these loses and I am not talking about the players. There was no plan to replace Warner and you cannot win with poor quarterbackng and a porous offensive line. Boy, Keith is horrible, has no idea who is blocking or what the blocking scheme is suppose to be. (With Grimm, maybe there is none).

Warner just made up for all the other problems on the defense and offensive line. We and the coaching staff did not recognize this fact.

Defensively we got owned.

Offensively, not the case. Holding call on the Hightower touchdown. DA missing Stephen Williams in the end zone. Two early plays that should have set the tone for the game, but ended up failing due to execution. By mid 2nd quarter we had a rookie in at QB, and the game plan went out the window due to the score. Early game plan looked solid.

The picks by DA didn't help much either.

LOL. Thanks for that. :)

We don't look like the reigning NFC West champs because we aren't. We lost a lot of guys that were on that team and helped us to get to a place where we were finally respected. This year is gonna suck, and I thought so from the beginning. I don't think we will go back to the suckage of years past, and I think/hope we will make changes so we don't totally suck for the entire 2010 season, but we will have a hard time making it past round one in the playoffs, if we make it to the playoffs at all.

No, and our defenses inability to make a stop compounded that. Our game plan was to run the ball out of 2WR sets and expose the San Diego linebackers backups who were in the game. This was going to force San Diego into man coverage to which we could exploit our size difference outside in Williams and Fitz.

What happened? We missed opportunities, turned the ball over, and failed to make a stop on defense. This totally wrecked our game plan and let to a blowout.

There are just so many glaring holes and mental lapses it's hard to even get into it.

#1- This O-line is horrendous right now, in pass protection and mediocre in it's strength in run blocking. It needs to improve. They had the TE blocking some on Keiths side. At this point the coaches need to look at the tape and move Bridges and posibly Hadnot into the OL.

#2- Secondary. Until this unit can stop ANYBODY, OC's will continue to put it up against us big time. We can't stop anything short or much long. It's really frustrating. And opposing O's are picking on everyone. No one is left unscathed.

#3 - Front Seven. Underperforming. Suposedly the strength of the team, it has not made any major impact on games thus far. A major part of the problem is they're not (can't) stop the run with any kind of consistency so far. The middle is pretty soft. We need a thumper who will bang some heads in there. Don't know who at this point. Porter to me has been a major non-factor to this point. I'd like to see Iwabema or Davis over there some on passing downs.

#4- QB. What can you say that hasn't allready been said. They're going with rook. Hopefully he can improve to manage a game the way it needs to. Oakland going with Gratkowski needs to be this teams new blueprint. Mangage the game, take 3-4 shots downfield when they're not expecting it. But teams are going to stack up against us with this rookie going, but what choice do we have at this point.
DA continues to be erratic and does not handle pressure well. Not good with this OL. Hall's the guy.

#5- Coaches. The D in particular had no clue for this game or Atl. To be fair the O didn't do them any favors hanging them out there for the most part
for long stretches and not giving them any legitimate blows. But the D in particular was WAY outcoached and outplayed.
And Grimm needs to get some sort of handle on his unit. Like last week allready!

There have been some blowouts here. But the last two have been totally embarrasing, and the division and league notices those things, big time. We don't have the crutch to fall back on any more. Players need to step it up or sit they're arses down!
QB should just be the start at this point.

I want to know what mirror on the wall told the Cardilnals that Adrian Wilson can cover Antonio Gates.

Is there anyone that thought Wilson could cover Gates ?

Before that game I just took that as fact, and figured we would game plan for stopping Gates.

Nope. Our professional coachin staff put Wilson on Gates. That is just stupid. Sorry, that is just how I see it, that our professionally paid DC was just plain stupid.
