As a fan of a team, I never saw the enjoyment or need to sit back and rank the loses which hurt me the most- I try the best I can to forget them. Now wins, that is a different story

No that was the 2005 game where the Rams Defense was going to lie down and let the Cardinals score a TD on the next play but LD got a false start and the time ran out.

Cards didn't even score a TD in that game.

Still have an anxiety attack if I think about it too much. Have never watched the replay.

1. Super Bowl

2. 2007 - Niners V. Cardinals - 36-30 OT loss with Rackers missing the game-winner with no time left in regulation from 34 yards out. The Niners were TERRIBLE and Wiz had rallied the team to 6-5 after a shaky start to his first season. Would have made us 7-5 and in control of our own destiny. Never been that mad about a regular season game.

3. 2004 - Cardinals v. Falcons - 6-3 loss. The game that made me hate Josh McCown more than anything else in the world. Never been so frustrated watching a game that the D DOMINATED but the offense just continually shot itself in the foot, including a Chansi Stuckey esque fumble late in the game.

4. 1997 - Cardinals v. Bengals 24-21 L - opening day, on the road, 21-3 lead... which we completely blow as Larry Centers fumbles with less than 2 minutes left as we can run out the clock. Carl Pickens scores game winner against us with like 20 second left. Began a streak of like 6 of 7 games where we basically lost on the lost play of the game.

5. 2007 - Niners v. Cardinals 20-17 - MNF season opener. We dominate the game, have the niners stuck on fourth down multiple times and let Alex Smith get first downs, driving the ball towards our goal-line where we create a fumble at the one... and our defense, instead of just falling on the ball, kicks the damn ball OUT OF THE ENDZONE, giving the ball back to the Niners. Walked out of the bar without even seeing the last play because i knew we'd just literally kicked the game away.

The Bears game doesn't even register with me. As far as I'm concerned, that sucker was HIGH COMEDY and board's beyond hilarious reaction made it for the greatest night in ASFN history.

11/1/64 and 11/15/64. In 1964 The Cardinals finished 9-3-2 behind the Browns who were 10-3-1. We tied the browns in Cleveland and beat them easily in St.L. The Browns won the NFL Championship that year and the Cards took apart Lombardi and the Packers in the "Play-Off Bowl" which was played at that time between the 2nd place teams. Now why are those dates significant? The NY Giants finished 2-10-2. On 11/1 we lost to them and on the 15th suffered a 10-10 tie after 4 fumbles and 2 INT.

#1 Tie:
2004 49ers game #1. Cards give up two 2 point conversions in 4th quarter lose in OT 31-28
2004 49ers game #2. Cards score 18 in the 4th quarter to tie. Lose in OT 31-28

#2-2010 Panthers 19-12
#3-2006 Raiders 22-9
#4 2005 Texans 19-30

Everyone of those teams we lost to had the #1 pick in the draft the following year.

Not the most miserable, but I went to the Cardinals last game they were shutout in. Week 2 of 2003 against Seattle. Cardinals couldn't get anything going and the Seahawks just trounced us.

What about that game in which we lost because the offsides, 10 second runoff?

Or the game when we had the untimed down for a field goal attempt off a tee?

Or the game when the Ravens beat us without scoring an offensive touchdown in 2004?

Or the Monday Night game when Eric Green just had to fall on a fumble, but couldnt do it?

Or......

What a weird year 2004 was. Start the season on the road vs Rams who advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs despite going 8-8. Then we played the Patriots who won the SB. Then those Falcons who finished 11-5 and made the NFC Championship game. Of course we start 0-3. Then they beat New Orleans and lose that stupid game to the 4and9ers, and then win 3 of the next 4.

They ran the ball 475 times to rank 11th in rushing attempts. One of our pass rushers had 14 sacks

The only thing normal was they went to Carolina and got killed.

And they didn't make Emmit Smith cry.

1. Cardinals at Redskins, 12/84: last play field goal attempt, NFC east title or go home. This was worse than the super bowl for me since they came away with nothing where in 2008 the Cardinals surpassed everyone's expectations in the playoffs.

2. Super Bowl 43 vs. Steelers 2008-09

3. Thanksgiving 1977, Miami 55 Cardinals 14. Humiliation on national TV, the Cardinals go in with a 6 game win streak, follow it up with 12 straight losses through next season, out of playoffs, loss of coach who goes on to build the best offense in the NFL, and 20 years of (mostly) losing.

4. Monday Night vs. Bears 2006: no explanation needed

5. Kansas City 49-0, 2002. Complete embarassment and humiliation, maybe the most pathetic Cardinal game ever.

Was at that game.

The MNF tie game against the Giants where same said kicker missed a slug of FG's to win the game, not a loss so honorable mention.

first home win ever after 0-26 start, they beat the Saints I think it was on the road, then beat the Big Red at home, fans went crazy and tore down the goalposts.

I remember when we lost to the Bucs, I think it was their 2nd win ever.
