Even though there’s no recording allowed at LaVar Ball’s Junior Basketball Association (JBA) tryouts, theYouTubers from Hoop Journey shared their footage while trying to make the cut in Dallas. LaVar Ball and his youngest son, who’s supposed to be the face of the league, LaMelo Ball, weren’t there, but it’s still an interesting peek into the JBA as it tries to find its first players. Per the league’s site, the “JBA League is an alternative for young athletes who want to play basketball as a pro, without going through the NCAA college system.” The JBA says it will pay players that are 17 to 19 years old, and the team that wins the championship will win a new Mercedes, BMW or Cadillac.
